Housing Information
Housing for out-of-town students is available 20 minutes away from The Dance Barns. Students are housed at the Institute For American Indian Arts dorms (www.iaia.edu). Meals are provided, or catered at The Dance Barns – depending on the day’s schedule.

Housing/Transportation
The cost for housing, transportation and all provided meals from dinner on Saturday, July 24th through dinner on Saturday, August 7th is $1,000; this price is based on sharing a room.

Transportation between the IAIA and The Dance Barns is provided by BTDW. Transportation between the Albuquerque airport and the IAIA is also be provided on the arrival day, as there is no shuttle that goes directly to the IAIA. For those who have taken the shuttle in the past, this service is no longer available to a location where NDI-NM can provide additional transportation. Chaperones greet dancers at the airport and show them to their bus for a 2pm pick up. This is the only airport pick up available. Dancers should plan their flights accordingly as no additional transportation/supervision is available. From past experience, we anticipate that most parents will pick up their child on Saturday, August 7th after the performance. For dancers who will stay at the dorms Saturday night and need transportation to the Albuquerque airport on Sunday, August 8th, we require an additional $25.00 transportation fee which is non-refundable. Please include this fee with your final payment. Dancers may not leave with another student’s parent unless an authorization form is provided in advance of the workshop.

Chaperones
As a chaperone you have a big responsibility, but also a great deal of free time – it’s a wonderful opportunity to explore this fine city at considerable savings! If you are interested in being a chaperone, please click here.
